The Theobald Smith Society Fall 2023 Symposium was held Friday, 27 October 2023 at Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.  

 

The program featured American Society for Microbiology Distinguished Lecturer and Waksman Foundation Lecturer Jennifer A. Leeds, PhD, who spoke about “Challenges and Opportunities in Antibacterial Drug Discovery: a personal perspective.”  Dana Price, PhD, our 2023 Young Investigator Award Recipient, spoke about "Genomic epidemiology and the New Jersey vector-borne disease landscape."
